Fred Herbert is the author of Double or Nothing which he wrote to help business owners take the necessary steps to increase the value of their business and the likelihood of selling their business if they choose to do so.
Fred is the owner of PE³ Consulting which focuses on helping business owners plan and prepare for what is likely to be the largest financial transaction of their life…the sale or transfer of their business. PE³ focuses on designing strategies that reduces owner risks and helps them exit with the largest possible amount of cash.
Mr. Herbert has over 20 years experience as owner of various small businesses. He has been heavily involved in the Quality Industry since 1998 and helped a Texas company win the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and the Texas Quality Award. He has twice served as a Baldrige Examiner and twice as a Texas Award for Performance Excellence Examiner. Fred is an ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence, and a member of many professional associations including, ASQ (American Society for Quality), Kingdom Advisors, and currently serves as Chairman for the DFW Christian Chamber of Commerce Board of Advisors.
Fred has had the distinguished honor of being a speaker at QUEST for Excellence Conference in Washington, DC. He has also spoken at the ASQ Quality Conference, PIA/GATF Continuous Improvement Network Conference, Chamber of Commerce events, Rotary Clubs, Kiwanis Clubs, seminars and workshops.
Mr. Herbert writes a blog (www.pe3consulting.com/blog) and produces short video tips on Building Business Value. He also helps clients with Double or Nothing Seminars, Double or Nothing Business Assessments, Business Transition Planning, implementation and training of Lean Initiatives, Six Sigma Strategies, Strategic Planning, Malcolm Baldrige Criteria, ISO 9000, Process Improvement, Performance Excellence and Team Based Problem Solving.
Fred has also created a Double or Nothing course for CPAs (Certified Public Accounts) which provide CPE (Continuing Professional Education) credits. |
